Founded in 1990 to serve the running and swimming communities.
Saturn Sports, then known as a First Place Athletics, began as a running and swimming store in 1990 to serve Huntsville and Madison County and grew to support the surrounding areas - including the states of Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, and Georgia! We have a reputation of knowledgeable, friendly staff who can give you expert-level advice on the right equipment and apparel for you and your sport! We specialize in assisting athletes of all shapes, sizes and abilities with forging their own myths as they build their legacies in their chosen sports - regardless of ability. Saturn Sports has grown to include not only running and swimming, but court sports, functional fitness and weightlifting - with wrestling arriving in fall 2025 and more on the way. Our team is Olympic-focused and our combined experience gives you decades of athletic knowledge and battletested knowhow.

Monday - Friday: 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. Saturday: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
