Founded in 1990 to serve the running and swimming communities.
First Place Athletics began as a running and swimming store in 1990 to serve Huntsville and Madison County and grew to support the surrounding areas - including the states of Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, and Georgia! We have a reputation of knowledgeable, friendly staff who can give you expert-level advice on the right equipment and apparel for you and your sport!
We specialize in assisting runners and swimmers of all skill levels and ability - whether you are an elite athlete, just getting started, or looking to reenter the realm of athletics.
